Entrepreneurs Pursue Cannabis Technology

MyDxCNET just published a series of articles on the cannabis industry, the third of which looks at several of the efforts aimed at using technology to take advantage of changes in the industry as it legalizes.  The article discusses MyDX, which sells a hand-held analyzer to help identify the cannabinoids and their levels, several delivery companies, glass pipe marketplace Leafcart, box-of-the-month company Ganja Boxes, and Airbnb imitators TravelTHC and Bud and Breakfast. It also mentions several CanopyBoulder companies, including Ananas, Hemp Business Journal and Grownetics, all early-stage startups.

One interesting nugget:

Since going on sale in July, Yazbeck’s company, CDx, has sold roughly 500 devices. Its creator admits the gadget isn’t as accurate as it could be.
