Philip Morris Rumored to Make $20mm Investment in Cannabis Device Manufacturer

An unconfirmed Reuters report suggests that tobacco giant Philip Morris is investing $20mm into Israeli company Syqe Medical to develop a device aimed at reducing health risks associated with smoking tobacco.  Syqe Medical has developed a novel portable meter-dosed cannabis inhaler that has been studied in a clinical trial, the results of which were published in Journal of Pain & Palliative Care Pharmacotherapy in September 2014.
