Harborside Exits Oregon and Will Focus Solely on California Cannabis Opportunity

Harborside Health Center testimonial

Harborside Health has closed its underperforming Oregon dispensary that opened in October and, according to Marijuana Business Daily, will no longer pursue the aggressive national expansion plan that it had previously discussed. Harborside operates two dispensaries, in San Jose and in Oakland, and will soon open another in San Leandro.  The company will no longer be pursuing a dispensary in Illinois.  According to founder Steve DeAngelo, the company will be relocating its Portland employees to California, where the opportunities have improved with the recent changes in the medical cannabis laws.  Full legalization, if approved by voters later this year, will offer even greater potential for the company in its home state.
