Evan Eisenberg, 26, is a partner and spokesman with a group that has applied for a license to produce and sell medical marijuana. Razbuton Ferns Nursery of Winter Garden is partnering with University of South Florida scientists and investors in Phoenix Botanical Research LLC, as one of eight firms competing for the Central Florida license. Eisenberg spoke recently with Orlando Sentinel staff writer Scott Powers.
“Our sealed warehouse will be fully environmentally controlled. That will allow us to control the temperature to prevent insects or fungi from attacking our plants. And it allows us to not use pesticides and provide pesticide-free medicine to our patients.”
