High-End Cannabis Infused Chocolate Company Impresses Wired Magazine

Défoncé chocolates

Défoncé Chocolatier is a relatively new entrant into the high-end edibles market in California. We have spoken with CEO Eric Eslao and have been impressed by many facets of the company’s story. So was Wired Magazine’s Design Editor, Robbie Gonzales, who appreciates the packaging and the unique pyramid shape of the pieces of the bar. The company, which is based in Oakland and tied to former Apple employees, employed the services of a mathematician in order to assure that each piece was consistently dosed for THC.

The article incorporates a video that includes an interview with CEO Eslao, who says that consistency is the key focus of the company, and also reveals a lot of details about the company’s products, which retail for a suggested price of $20 for a 100g bar with 180mg of THC. Défoncé is clearly raising the bar for cannabis product providers with its attention to detail and its high quality that is expressed in the ingredients it uses, its extraction processes and its rigorous lab testing.
