Jodie Emery Sees Canadian Cannabis Legalization as Positive for the LPs

Jodie Emery

Jodie Emery and her husband, Marc, define the cannabis culture in Vancouver and perhaps all of Canada.  The couple own and operate the aptly named Cannabis Culture website along with PotTV and the Cannabis Culture Headquarters (a must-visit when in Vancouver!), and both are thought leaders on legalization in Canada. Leafly published an excellent and timely interview with Jodie, addressing the recent election and how she expects the new PM, Justin Trudeau, and his government will fulfill his promise to move quickly.

Emery discusses the couple’s desire to extend upon its current operations, which include a head shop and vapor lounge, to include a dispensary, and she suggests that they hope to expand geographically.  With respect to the current licensed producers, Emery says:

Oh, they’re already talking about opening dispensary storefronts and selling recreationally, and the Liberal Party will probably allow them to expand the market.
