Similar to developments in Colorado, where Walsenburg, with a ruined economy, has a large cannabis cultivation project in development, Adelanto, California has seen a land rush of late. Located about 85 miles Northeast of Los Angeles, the town of 33K has four prisons  that house over 3340 inmates.  27 companies have secured permits to grow in warehouses as the rules change in the state, which is contemplating full legalization for adults.  The city’s cultivators could produce up to 300K pounds of cannabis per year and generate tax revenue of $6mm (based on size of cultivation facility) from the 27 growers already approved.  The list of permit holders includes Adelanto Research Technologies, which has connections to several celebrities and attorney Freddy Sayegh, some L.A. dispensaries and Ecologies Laboratories.

Adelanto is going to blow everyone’s mind. We’re going to blow the entire world’s mind.
