A Staten Island-based company is proposing to locate a medical marijuana dispensary in the unincorporated section of Lake Success, according to the application filed with the state Health Department. The proposed Lake Success dispensary would be named the Lake Success Patient Resource Center.

Bloomfield Industries Inc. was announced in July as one of the five organizations the health department issued registrations to manufacture and dispense medical marijuana under New York State’s Medical Marijuana Program.

Bloomfield also applied to open dispensaries in Manhattan, Syracuse, and Williamsville, a suburb in Erie County, as well as a main manufacturing center on Borden Avenue in Long Island City.
