Greg Engel – Director and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Greg Engel has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer, Director of the Company, effective March 13, 2017. Engel has served in a number of senior-level and executive positions in related industries over the past 25 years in Canada, US and Internationally. Most recently he was chief executive officer for Tilray Canada Inc., an early medical marijuana leader and the first Canadian company to export medical cannabis products to Europe. Currently based in Toronto, Engel is familiar with Moncton having served as district sales manager in the pharmaceutical industry earlier in his career. Engel earned an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Guelph in 1987 and then studied marketing at Queen’s University. He has also attended York University’s Schulich School of Business.
Paolo De Luca, CA, CFA – Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Paolo De Luca is Chief Financial Officer of the Company. With more than 20 years of diversified financial business experience, Mr. De Luca has held senior financial, investor relations, and accounting leadership roles at companies including West Face Capital, one of Canada’s leading alternative asset management firms; Meridian LNG; Potash Ridge; C.A. Bancorp; and TD Securities. With this diverse industry and international background, he has extensive experience with both traditional and non-traditional financing and debt offerings, which will be a tremendous asset to Organigram.
Ray Gracewood – Chief Commercial Officer
Mr. Raymond Gracewood is Chief Commercial Officer of the company. As the previous senior director of sales and marketing for Moosehead Breweries Ltd., Mr. Gracewood is a leading brand and marketing professional in Atlantic Canada. With more than 15 years of experience in the marketing space, he is a strong speaker on brand, packaging and positioning, both locally and throughout North America. He has extensive experience in building and developing brands, positioning and segmentation. Mr. Gracewood holds a bachelor of business administration from the University of New Brunswick.
Michael Tripp – Chief Legal Officer
Mr. Michael Tripp serves as Chief Legal Officer of the Company. Prior to commencing this role, Mr. Tripp engaged in private practice at a respected business law firms in Moncton and Toronto, and as general counsel and secretary to a TSX Venture Exchange-listed company.
James Cavanagh – Chief of Staff
Mr. James Cavanagh is the Chief of Staff at Organigram. Before his current position, he worked with PwC to oversee the implementation of manufacturing and sales processes. In his role as Chief of Staff, Mr. Cavanagh will help shape and guide the company’s strategy and resources.
Tim Emberg – Sr. VP of Sales and Commercial Operations
Mr. Tim Emberg is Vice President – Sales and Commercial Operations of the Company. Mr. Emberg has a proven track record in healthcare and consumer packaged goods (CPG) having previously worked for Roche Canada, Jamieson Labs, and Frito-Lay Canada.
Guillermo Delmonte – President of International Opserations
Mr. Guillermo Delmonte is President – International Division of the Company. Mr. Delmonte has also held financial and business development leadership roles at companies including BBVA Bank, Technit Group, Credit Agricole Bank, United Nations Uruguay and Bank ITAU. Mr. Delmonte is a graduate of ORT, University Montevideo (Uruguay), Institut d’Estudis Financiers Barcelona (Spain), and IEEM Montevideo University (Uruguay).
Larry Rogers – VP of International Operations
Mr. Larry Rogers is Vice President – International Business of the Company. Mr. Rogers has previously worked at Organigram in roles including: member of the Board of Directors, Chief Operating Officer and VP of Business Development and Special Projects since 2014. Mr. Rogers had also previously worked for 6 years in a Swiss private equity firm with offices in Western Europe, Asia and North America. Mr. Rogers’ appointment as VP of International Business is in furtherance with the Company’s corporate strategy of focusing on international opportunities.
Jeff Purcell – Sr. VP of Operations
25 years of experience in operations for companies such as Ganong Chocolates and McCain Foods.
