Attorney Marc J. Ross talks with Opportunist’s Managing Editor Leslie Stone about his firm’s areas of practice, the changes he has seen in the financial industry and his participation at the upcoming International Canna Pro Expo.

Marc Ross is founding partner of Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference LLP, a New York City-based law firm he launched in 1998. While most of his career has been focused in the area of securities litigation, arbitration and regulatory matters, he has also assisted companies going public through reverse mergers, initial public offerings or company offerings, and also regularly advises clients on investment and capital raising transactions. More recently, he has been advising marijuana and marijuana-related companies on the legal nuances of the industry and speaking nationally on the subject. As an adjunct professor, he teaches the first law school course on marijuana at Hofstra University School of Law titled “Business and Law of Marijuana.”
