Chuck Rifici, who was one of the co-founders of Tweed, which is one of the two operating units of Canopy Growth (TSXV: CGC) (OTC: TWMJF), and served as CEO until the summer of 2014, has acquired a cannabis price comparison service, Wikileaf, through his private equity firm, Nesta Holdings, which is focused on the U.S. cannabis market opportunities. Rifici, who currently serves as a Director of Aurora Cannabis (CSE: ACB) (OTC: ACBFF), has retained founder Dan Nelson, who runs the company from Washington.

Debra Borchardt describes the company, which changed its original business model, as active in eleven states.  Nelson, who ruled out other opportunities before selling to Nesta Holdings, is investing in expansion and upgrading the site.  The company may go public later this year.
