Windsor Star reporter Doug Schmidt visited the Aphria (TSXV: APH) facility in Leamington, Ontario. His article, which includes a video interview with CEO Vic Neufeld, discusses the recent Health Canada approval for its expansion of capacity as well as the pending sale of cannabis oil. Capacity had been so constrained at Aphria that the company had stopped onboarding new patients.

Aphria expects to begin selling cannabis oil in May. With the expansion, Neufeld suggests that the company, which is also setting up an in-house laboratory for research and quality control, could reach $30mm per year in sales.  Aphria serves approximately 4000 patients and also wholesales to other licensed producers.
