Delta 9, the Winnipeg Sun Reports, has left the Canadian Medical Cannabis Industry Association (CMCIA), joining Tilray and Peace Naturals in the rival industry group, the Canadian Medical Cannabis Council (CMCC). The company is set to double the capacity of its 80k s.f. facility and has over 1000 patients.

We wanted to further the interests of our patients, address insurance coverage and make sure our patients were getting a good enough supply of medicinal marijuana. This will help us address the more important elements of our industry, such as patients’ rights to access and facilitating patients’ access to their medicinal marijuana.
