Cannabis Investor Full Moon Investments to Invest $20 Million in Arkansas

Full Moon Investments Provides $12.5 Million Financing for Massachusetts Medical Marijuana Company and Seeks to Deploy $20 Million to Fund Arkansas Medicial Marijuana Dispensary Licensees

Finance And Private Equity Arm Of Large Fully Integrated Cannabis Company Poised To Play a Role In The Arkansas Medical Cannabis Industry

Jan. 10, 2019 — Full Moon Investments, the leading private fund for medical and recreational cannabis businesses, today announced a $12.5 million cash financing deal with Massachusetts-based Middlesex Integrative Medicine, a provider of high-quality medical cannabis. Nationwide, the medical cannabis industry is expanding at a 30% annual rate. In Arkansas, 32 dispensary licenses were just awarded around the state. Full Moon Investments is ready to support the growing Arkansas cannabis industry with $20 million in funding availability.

The Massachusetts financing is in exchange for convertible notes from a vertically integrated grower/processer/dispenser licensee. The transaction gives the Boston-based company access to capital to build out its state-of-the-art high-production capacity cultivation and laboratory facilities (currently underway), and three planned dispensaries. The laboratory includes kitchen facilities to make chocolates and other edibles.

David Engel, Managing Partner Full Moon Investments said: “I structured and authorized the financing which gives Middlesex Integrative Medicine quick access to capital to fully capitalize on its cultivation, processing and dispensary licenses.”

“Full Moon not only provided the capital needed to support our large-scale medical marijuana operation, but also provided a world of experience,” said Nancy Koury, President of Middlesex Integrative Medicine. “This business is very complex, but having an educated partner like Full Moon has allowed for informed decision-making and the avoidance of mistakes, which has been very valuable to our company.”

Full Moon Investments, LLC, through its team of seasoned cannabis and financial professionals, and its operational partner Holistic Industries, Inc., offers capital, and where appropriate, turnkey facilities and training to new and existing licensees in the cannabis space. The company’s investment team includes master growers, plant extraction experts, experienced chocolatiers and edible manufacturing personnel. Its offerings also include a full line of turnkey, fully refined Liberty-brand cannabis products to its capital clients.

While the medical marijuana industry is new to Arkansas, nationally we have been providing capital to cannabis companies for more than five years. We know there are going to be medical marijuana companies in Arkansas that need speed with capital, and second-to-none operational expertise and execution. Speed to market is critical to capture market share. We have allocated $20 million to invest in Arkansas, and wish to discuss providing capital with any of the new dispensary license holders.
