Cannabis Prices Decline Slightly (11/20/15)

Each week, New Leaf Data Services publishes a weekly assessment of cannabis prices by evaluating the legal prices  for a standardized potency across a variety of markets.  From an overall perspective, prices fell by over 1%  this week to $1729 per pound from $1755, with most reported transactions between $1655 and $2605 per pound.  The report stated that outdoor prices averaged $1493, while greenhouse and indoor were $1654 and $2242, respectively.

Regionally, California was unchanged at $1447, while Colorado fell over 1% to $1907.  Oregon prices were pressured by another 6% to $1710 per pound, while Washington reversed out some of the recent rebound, declining 4% to $1684.  The report details several regional observations, including black market prices, and it also shares a model that predicts forward prices.
