Cannabis Prices Dip 4% as Washington Recovery Offset by Weakness in Other Markets

Each week, New Leaf Data Services publishes a weekly assessment of cannabis prices by evaluating the legal prices  for a standardized potency across a variety of markets.  From an overall perspective, prices fell by almost 4%  this week to $1755 per pound from $1826, with most reported transactions between $1603 and $2626 per pound.  The report stated that outdoor prices averaged $1418, while greenhouse and indoor were $1736 and $2254, respectively.

Regionally, California fell 3.5% to $1447, while Colorado rose over 1% to $1933.  Oregon prices were pressured by 6% to $1821 per pound, while Washington continued to recover, increasing 14% to $1760.  The report details several regional observations, including black market prices, and it also shares a model that predicts forward prices.
