Cannabis is legal in Colorado and many other states, but consuming it outside of the home is quite the challenge. Ricardo Baca found someone who may have figured it out:

In the last two years of legal marijuana sales in Colorado, there has been a cornucopia of 420-friendly events — arty dinners, joint- and sushi-rolling classes, speed dating happy hours and even bus tours of residential Christmas light displays.

But no entrepreneur has yet figured out the tricky cannabis event space as well as Kendal Norris, whose Mason Jar Event Group will throw another luxe bash later this month.

Baca describes her elaborate parties that combine cannabis, yoga and gourmet food. Norris has identified several farms in Boulder County and some art galleries that will work with her company and has sought the counsel of Vicente Sederberg partners to use Eventbrite in a legally compliant manner.
