Co-founder Adam Smith contributed these thoughts about what it takes to build a brand that is committed to something bigger than itself.
To me, being a responsible company in the cannabis industry is paramount. I do not want cannabis to turn into the next Big Tobacco, with Joe Camel as its mascot. So we stay far away from anything even remotely attractive to children, juvenile references, puns and other copyrighted or trademarked material.
