Fire & Flower Receives Two Additional Cannabis Retail Store Licences in Edmonton, Alberta

EDMONTON, Aug. 8, 2019 /CNW/ – Fire & Flower Holdings Corp. and its wholly-owned subsidiary Fire & Flower Inc. (collectively, “Fire & Flower” or the “Company”) (TSX: FAF), today announced that it has received two additional cannabis retail store licences from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (the “AGLC”).

The Company anticipates these stores to be open and selling cannabis during the week of August 26 and will be located at:

9080 – 25 Avenue SW, Edmonton, Alberta
252 – 91 Street SW, Edmonton, Alberta

The receipt of these two additional store licences demonstrates Fire & Flower continuing to deliver upon its projected store roll out schedule. Receiving these licences and our ability to rapidly open retail stores is a clear demonstration of Fire & Flower continuing to build upon its leading position in Canadian cannabis retail. We have heard from the South Edmonton community that they are eagerly anticipating the Fire & Flower experience and we are looking forward to welcoming them into our stores.

Fire & Flower now owns or has interest in 28 cannabis retail store licenses across the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and the Yukon territory, as previously disclosed in the Company’s Annual Information Form dated August 2, 2019.

The Company continues to focus on opening new retail stores across Alberta, where the AGLC continues to issue retail licences at a rapid rate, and in other Canadian provinces where private retail is permitted.
