The cannabis industry is long on new ideas but often short on best business practices and the skills necessary to take the idea to fruition, including raising capital from outside investors. Gateway, a new cannabis focused startup accelerator in Oakland, was founded by Carter Laren and Ben Larson, with MJIC serving as its initial investor.
The company is currently recruiting its first cohort, with an application deadline of January 31st. Learn about the application process, what Gateway is looking for in applicants and what entrepreneurs will get beyond $30K in exchange for giving up 6% of their companies.
