Michigan cannabis sales for April fell from a year ago as they increased sequentially by 1.2%. At $258.6 million, sales were down 4.3% from a year earlier:

The Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency breaks out sales by medical and adult-use, with medical sales falling 24.1% from a year ago to $0.4 million, down 5.6% sequentially, and adult-use sales decreasing 4.3% year-over-year to $255.5 million,up 1.2% sequentially despite one fewer day than in March.

As supply continues to expand, flower pricing for adult-use has seen a dramatic decline, though the decline has been slowing. In April, the average price of $945 per pound, fell 4.2% sequentially to just above the record low in December and declined 5.1% from a year ago:

Michigan cannabis sales expanded 82.1% in 2021 to $1.79 billion, 27.9% in 2022 to $2.29 billion and 33.3% to $3.06 billion in 2023. In 2024, they grew by 7.6% to $3.29 billion, and they were down 3.5% in 2025 to $3.18 billion. In 2026, Michigan cannabis sales have declined 5.9%.
