Oregon Consumer Brand Developer Partners with Promising Cannabis Grower

HiFi Farms Founder Sara Batterby presenting at The ArcView Group
HiFi Farms CEO Sara Batterby presenting at The ArcView Group meeting in Portland

Based in Oregon, HiFi Farms is a craft cannabis company that is aiming high. Fresh off presenting at the recent ArcView Group meeting in Portland, the company has announced a strategic partnership with Portland-based Meriwether Group, a firm that provides strategic consulting, accelerator services and capital to consumer brands.  Typically it has worked with more mature companies, like Alma Chocolates and Dave’s Killer Bread, but it decided to get involved in Hifi Farms at an earlier stage because it believes it could develop into a $100mm business.

HiFi Farms is headed by Sara Batterby, who is very involved in the industry as co-leader of the Portland Women Grow chapter.  Her background is in venture capital and in marketing.  The grower focuses on organic production methods and sustainability and is Clean Green Certified.  In addition to providing services to HiFi Farms, Meriwether Group has made an investment.
