Mettrum is one of the leading Canadian licensed cannabis producers, reporting quarterly sales of $2mm for the period ending 12/31/15, but the company gets substantially less press than many of its peers. It has been extremely difficult to find pictures of its production facilities. Until now. Madaline Zanni, pictured above, shared her impressions of a recent visit to the company’s Toronto-area facilities in Bowmanville and Creemore.
The 60K s.f. Bowmanville facility, which will serve as the headquarters and its main production facility, was licensed by Health Canada in December, while Creemore, a facility that hosts retrofitted pods, is running at full capacity. Her Huffington Post article includes several photos from both facilities. Interestingly, Zanni notes that Mettrum is the most popular supplier among her professional colleagues.
