CNBC’s The Profit to Feature 3 Leading Cannabis Companies

CNBC reality show The Profit will focus on the cannabis industry on August 8th, with host Marcus Lemonis taking a look at several companies in California as the station debuts “Marijuana Millions” at 10PM ET.  The show typically focuses on struggling companies, but that is certainly not the case here. A promotional video reveals three leading cannabis companies featured, including Canndescent, a premium grower based in Santa Barbara, Kiva Confections, a San Francisco based maker of edibles that is way ahead of peers with respect to microdosing, and MedMen, the Los Angeles-based consultant and operator of several cannabis projects in multiple states. CNBC’s timing is excellent given the recent implementation of legal sales for adults in Nevada and the pending implementations in California and Massachusetts next year.
