Tripp Keber Discusses Therabis and a Potential IPO of Dixie Brands

The cannabis industry is getting a whole new class of potential customers: our dogs and cats. Denver-based Dixie Brands is launching a new line of pet wellness products made with industrial hemp.  Therabis products will launch in November and initially will be sold online, but Keber said there is already significant retail interest.

Keber has big ambitions in the medical marijuana business, with investments in several cannabis companies, and said he is exploring taking Dixie Brands public. He believes investor interest in cannabis companies is growing. “There are literally hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars that are being invested on an annual basis in these cannabis-centric companies,” said Keber, who is hopeful that one such company will soon be listed on the Nasdaq.  “Just in the next couple of weeks, we hope to up-list Mass Roots, which is a social media company — like Facebook meets Instagram meets cannabis.
