MiBiz profiled Hilary Dulany, the CEO of Michigan-based vaporizer manufacturer Accuvape, who has deep roots in the state’s cannabis industry. Dulany entered the industry in 2008, beginning with a media offering before launching Accuvape. More recently, she left Michigan a bit frustrated by the lack of progress from a regulatory perspective and became a cultivator in Oregon, creating Aardvark Extracts. An early sponsor of Women Grow, Dulany has encountered gender issues throughout her involvement in the industry in Michigan, but she notes remarkable progress in terms of women-owned businesses in the last few years and a better environment in Oregon.
