Brands Emerging from the Upside Down Washington Cannabis Market

Here is an excerpt from the most recent report, which discusses how Washington’s recreational marijuana marketplace is “upside down” in comparison of brands to retail outlets.  Pricing pressure has been extreme, and brands are likely to to offer an escape from the commoditization of the flower market there.

There are only four processors that were in over half of all the retailers in the state. The top three were all edible companies, Zoots (DB3), Northwest Cannabis Solutions, and Spot (Botanical Seattle).
