Kelly Ogilvie, who formerly worked for Washington Governor Jay Inslee as a Senior Policy Advisor, is the CEO of DeepCell Industries, which is an emerging biotech and nanotechnology IP licensing company that infuses crystals with THC, enabling products like the company’s Ruby sweetener, which looks pretty easy to use.

The technology could be a game-changer for the industry, allowing consumers to save money and perhaps get a better experience than they might otherwise get with canabiss-infused edibles. DeepCell Industries has partnered with a licensed producer in the state to offer Ruby as well as a salt and a zero-calorie sweetener.  As an intellectual property and branding company, Ogilvie anticipates being able to license in states outside of Washington.
